Did you feel the earthquake this morning, which happened at 10:33 am? It got my attention.
According to the USGS, the earthquake was centered on Larkfield, north of Santa Rosa and registered a magnitude of 3.5. This earthquake was categorized as a type IV which is a light earthquake. Below is a USGS shakemap, which highlights the areas where shaking was felt.
Below is the “Felt Report” from USGS, which reflects self-reported data of how intense the earthquake felt.

Sebastopol resident Kevin Dwan said that the earthquake “felt pretty strong downtown.” Several hundred people reported on NextDoor that they felt “lots of shaking” and that it was “scary.” I was on a video call with a person in Santa Rosa who felt the earthquake first and then moments later I felt it — a strong jolt that shook our house.
We have not heard reports of any damage but please let us know in the comments if know of any.

I felt it in downtown Sebastopol. Slight quick bounce while sitting in a chair.
I had just parked my car at Fircrest and felt it wiggle. Knew right off it was a quake :|. Better we have the little ones, eh?!
