Happy 4th of July and a thought-provoking 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! Sebastopol celebrated in style last night at the Kiwanis’s 3rd of July Fireworks and Music Extravaganza on Morris Street.
We tend to think of the 3rd of July celebration as our own little, small-town thing, but when our photographer Mark Fernquest dropped in to take some pics yesterday evening, he found folks from all over Sonoma County and the Bay Area—and a few from across the country—all decked out in their best red, white and blue.
