Christine Pool passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024. She was 75 years old.
She was born in Long Beach, California, in 1949 to Clyde and Jacqueline (Jackson) Spring. Christine lived in California and northeast Texas for the majority of her life. She spent many years managing Beauty Store & More stores in Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, and Sonoma, California. She ultimately retired from Safeway as a manager. Her favorite place to be was Sebastopol where her two daughters attended high school. She loved shopping at the local nurseries, antique stores, shops, and bakeries. She also loved spending her free time in Bodega Bay, enjoying a cup of clam chowder at Spud’s and lying on the beach.
Christine was a very kind and giving person who was loved by many and will be deeply missed. She had a way of making people feel loved and understood and her personality drew others to her. Christine’s faith and sense of humor were very important to her, and she relied on both during her lifetime.
Christine is survived by her children, David Pool and wife, Darla, Robert Pool and wife Kristie, Maggie Fockler and husband Brent, and Jennifer Coffey; nine grandchildren, Mark Adams, Jr., Alexis Starkey, Nathan Pool, Kayla Coffey, Clayton Pool, Alison Roush, Lucas Pool, Kylee Pool, and Kameron Coffey; six great grandchildren, three sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
