Thanks for covering this important event!

Nobody needs to see a bunch of middle aged white people holding signs that say "Fuck this" and "Fuck that." It's crude and embarrassing.

I understand. In the past I have not published signs like these, but there were so many at this particular event. I think it reveals something about the moment—a kind of rising fury and creative exhaustion. I’d be interested to hear further thoughts on this. Also, not sure what white has to do with this.

I totally agree with you. I have unbearable rage and heartbreak at what is happening to our community and our neighbors.

The president is crude and embarrassing. Being polite to fascists has never worked.

I truly don't understand the fury, rage and heartbreak. Because the administration is deporting people? Clinton deported/returned 12 MILLION. Obama deported/returned 5 MILLION. Trump isn't even at 1.5 million. This is pure TDS. Put your energy into a better cause. Sebastopolians should be protesting the limitless ways in which vineyards are allowed to poison our air and water, the dearth of funds our schools get which have plummeted their resources and rankings, or any number of other local issues that actually affect us. These protests against Trump or Israel or whatever have zero effect on anything.

I disagree, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. And there were teenagers and elders with them also.

Blacks in the city can have "fuck this" signs. Whites in Sebastopol should go back to fermenting stuff and stop trying to be cool.
