The fourth amendment of our constitution prohibits government officials from stopping anyone and demanding identification unless they have probably cause that a person was involved in a crime. Skin color, accents, are not probable cause. I am not interested in living in a police state where I can be stopped anytime by unidentifed, armed and masked thugs. Not in my USA!

I think the mayor was operating on old information when he said that. The first story I heard sounded more like a raid. The reality was less dramatic.
