Two juveniles arrested in Sebastopol for assault weapons, drugs and financial crimes.

On February 13, at approximately 9 am, detectives from the Santa Rosa Police Department Gang Crimes Team served a search warrant in the 4500 block of Daywalt Drive in Sebastopol. The search warrant was related to an ongoing investigation into offenses related to illegal weapons, drugs and financial-crime-related activities. During the search, pursuant to the search warrant, a number of illegal weapons, drugs and fraudulent access cards were located. The suspect, identified as a 17-year-old male, was arrested at the scene.
Amongst the illegal items located was a .45 caliber glock handgun equipped with a “glock switch,” making the gun a full automatic weapon. Also located was an AR-15 pistol, unregistered Assault Rifle, an unregistered 9mm handgun, and an illegal 12-gauge shotgun. Numerous high capacity rifle magazines were also located.
The 17-year-old suspect was booked at Sonoma County Juvenile Hall. The juvenile was arrested for possession of an assault weapon (30605 PC), possession of a machine gun (32625 PC), possession of a controlled substance for sale (11378 HS).
A second search warrant was served in the 300 block of Murphy Ave in Sebastopol. Investigators subsequently located a Tek-9, 9mm assault weapon. The second suspect was identified as a 17-year-old male, who was arrested at the residence. Additional fraudulent access cards and stolen personal identifying information were located.
The 17-year-old suspect was booked at the Sonoma County Juvenile Hall. The juvenile was arrested for possession of an assault weapon (30605 PC), tampering with ID marks on firearm (23900 PC), acquiring access card with intent to sell (484 PC), unauthorized possession of ID information (530.5 PC ).

10:30 a.m. Possession of unlawful paraphernalia (misdemeanor) at South Main and Willow streets. Suspect arrested.
7:18 p.m. Hacking a computer to alter data and defraud (misdemeanor) at Hayden and McFarlane avenues. Cleared by circumstances beyond police control.

The Sebastopol Police Department also recorded 229 other events requiring police action during the period, such as lost animals, assisting citizens, parking violations, foot patrol, traffic hazards and reckless driving.
Where were these kids parents? It says that illegal guns were found at one of the boy's residences. Was that their parents' home? I think parents should also be held responsible.
