Petaluma photographer Scott Hess took these striking photos of Sebastopol and the Laguna on March 10. "I came up that day because I knew that the Laguna would be full," he said.
"I've always liked to go for high places, and when the affordable drone got good enough, I went for it," he added. "I use it all the time now because it really shows the landscape in a way you just can't see from down below. It's definitely the bird's eye view."
