Thanks to many of you who shared your photos of the Laguna this week. These photos show the Laguna full of water from the storms but they also show reflections of the trees, the scattered clouds and sky at different times of day.
Larry Robinson sent the above photo from his morning walk today at the Laguna. He also sent several photos from the morning of January 8th.
Reader Wildflower captured the Laguna at dusk. She thought her photos might be “too artsy.” I love how she captured the moon rise reflecting in pools of water.
I was especially excited to hear from Jonathan who was one of the kayakers on the Laguna that I photographed in Part 3. We get to see what he saw from the middle of the Laguna.
Debra Capria wrote on Tuesday January 10: “I thought to send you a few I took this morning. I have been walking down there and checking it out. This morning I walked out there in the rain to get these photos. I live on Sunset Avenue and can actually see the Laguna from my house since they cut trees down from the storm.” The first photo in her set is taken from her home on Sunset Avenue overlooking Weissman Hall. Others are taken along the trail behind the Community Center and baseball fields.
Hannah Peih took a photo while kayaking on the Laguna on January 8th.
Thank you all for sharing your photos of the Laguna de Santa Rosa in January 2023
Such beauty. Thank you!
