News close to home
If you're thankful for the Sebastopol Times, please become a paid subscriber.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our readers. We are grateful that you appreciate getting news that’s close to home.
So how are we doing after two-and-a-half years of the new Sebastopol Times? We watch two numbers that are slowly growing.
3,973 - the total number of all subscribers is approaching 4,000. That tells us how many people are getting the posts from the Sebastopol Times each day.
977 - the number of paid subscribers, which is approaching 1,000, a big milestone for us. That adds up to about $61,000 annually.
It’s a rather small budget for work that has a much larger impact on the community where we all live.
Our paid subscribers are the foundation of the Sebastopol Times. Subscription fees help to pay salaries for two reporters and a small downtown office. Laura and Ezra keep you informed of what’s going on in and around our town and we hear from you how you value it. See the comments below from our paid subscribers.
On this day of Thanksgiving, will you subscribe to the Sebastopol Times and support our reporting team and its coverage of news that is close to home? Keep local news coming to you every day and more than 4,000 people over the next year? If you are already a paid subscriber, thank you. We hope you will renew your subscription when it comes up.
