Yes to Roundabouts, and thanks for the link to make comments. Europe is way ahead of California, and the USA, in personal transportation. Roundabouts are an efficient solution to traffic flow.
Yes highway speeds in Europe. One sees an interchange approaching, slows appropriately and goes around until the exit you want comes up. If one misses the exit, you go around as many times as it takes to decide. Google Maps tells you to take exit number whatever as directions. Simplicity and perfection. Fast and no hassles

I am a fan of roundabouts myself, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a roundabout on a road where people are going 55 miles an hour. Have you?
