Sebastopol City Council Candidate Forum this Friday, and you’re invited

Don’t miss this live, in-person candidate forum and meet-and-greet, hosted by the Sebastopol Times and the Sebastopol Grange

• WHAT: Sebastopol City Council Candidates Forum and Meet-and-Greet

• DATE: Friday, Oct. 16

• TIME: Doors open at 5:30 PM | Program: 6:00 – 8:00 PM

• LOCATION: Sebastopol Grange Hall, 6000 Sebastopol Road (Hwy. 12)

• HOSTS: Co-presented by the Sebastopol Times and Sebastopol Grange #306

With ballots arriving in mailboxes and key decisions ahead for Sebastopol, join your neighbors at the Grange Hall for an in-person Sebastopol City Council Candidates Forum, followed by a candidate meet-and-greet. This evening offers you an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates on important local issues, get answers to the questions that matter most to you, and talk with the candidates afterward for an informal meet-and-greet.

Candidates Ian Hoff, Kyreen Jorgensen, Sandra Maurer, Jill McLewis, Erin Mitchell, and James Woodruff will be present at the Grange for the event. Candidate Brandie Solavay, who cannot attend because of a work event in San Francisco, will answer some of the questions beforehand and send a representative to the event.

Evening Schedule:

• 5:30 PM: Doors open (Candidates arrive backstage)

• 6:00 – 6:05 PM: Welcome and ground rules

• 6:05 – 6:15 PM: Brief candidate opening statements (1 minute each)

• 6:15 – 6:45 PM: Host questions

• 6:45 to 7:15 PM: Audience Q&A (submitted on index cards)

• 7:15 – 7:50 PM: Informal meet-and-greet. Visit individual candidate tables stationed around the hall.

• 7:50 – 8:00 PM: Wrap-up & voting reminders

Free admission — all Sebastopol and West County community members are welcome.
