Sebastopol Police Logs, August 8-14

The following are crimes excerpted from Sebastopol Police Department daily crime log entries and listed at the time the alleged violation was reported.

MONDAY

8:44 a.m. Contempt of court and disobeying a court order (misdemeanor) at Florence and Bodega avenues. Referred to District Attorney for review.

11:18 a.m. Second-degree burglary with breaking and entering (felony) and petty theft from a building (misdemeanor) at Sebastopol Avenue and Morris Street.  Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.

5:57 p.m. Violation of probation (misdemeanor) and possession of more than 1 ounce of marijuana at South Main Street and Walker Avenue. Suspect arrested.

TUESDAY

2:29 p.m. Petty theft (misdemeanor) at Petaluma and Abbott avenues. Pending further investigation.

WEDNESDAY

8:10 a.m.  Appropriation of lost property (misdemeanor) at Valentine and Pleasant Hill avenues. Suspect arrested.

2:46 p.m. Obtaining more than $400 under false pretenses (felony) and false personation of another with swindling (misdemeanor) at Healdsburg and Live Oak avenues. Pending further investigation.

3:41 p.m. Threatening to commit a crime with intent to terrorize and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger (felonies) at Bodega Avenue and Edman Way. Suspect arrested.

THURSDAY

2:40 p.m. Violation of a court order involving domestic violence and violation of probation (misdemeanors) at Swartz and Golden Ridge avenues. Suspect arrested.

9:28 p.m. Disorderly conduct involving alcohol (misdemeanor) at Gravenstein Highway South and Lynch Road. Suspect arrested.

FRIDAY

2:25 p.m. Petty theft (misdemeanor) at Bodega Avenue and Nelson Way. Pending further investigation.

4:15 p.m. Grand theft of money, labor or property from a building (felony) at Dufranc and Healdsburg avenues. Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.

5:49 p.m. Driving while under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of at least 0.08 percent (misdemeanor) at Morris and Johnson streets. Suspect arrested.

6:27 p.m. Battery with serious bodily injury (felony) at Norlee Street and Covert Lane. Unfounded.

8:09 p.m. Using offensive words in a public place and willfully discharging a BB gun with gross negligence (misdemeanors) at Meadowlark Drive and Hawthorne Court. Referred to the District  Attorney for review.

SATURDAY

6:44 p.m. Obstructing or resisting an executive officer with aggravating circumstances (felony), obstructing or resisting a public or peace officer or emergency medical technician (misdemeanor), unlawful possession of paraphernalia (misdemeanor), carrying a concealed dirk or dagger (felony), served with an arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge (misdemeanor) and served with an arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a felony charge (felony) at South Main and Willow streets. Suspect arrested.

SUNDAY

8:41 p.m. Vandalism involving defacing property (misdemeanor) at North Main Street and Healdsbur  Avenue. Pending further investigation.

The Sebastopol Police Department also reported 163 other events requiring police action during the period, such as lost animals, assisting citizens, parking violations, foot patrol, traffic hazards and reckless driving.
