The following are crimes excerpted from Sebastopol Police Department daily crime log entries and listed at the time the alleged violation was reported.
TUESDAY
12:20 p.m. Shoplifting (misdemeanor) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Referred to District Attorney for review.
5:18 p.m. Knowingly receiving stolen property, violation of probation, possession of a narcotic controlled substance, destroying or concealing evidence, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia (misdemeanors) and smuggling a controlled substance into a jail or prison (felony) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Suspect arrested.
WEDNESDAY
6:56 p.m. Driving while under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of at least 0.08% and violation of probation (misdemeanors) at Sebastopol and Petaluma avenues. Suspect arrested.
THURSDAY
4:59 p.m. Tampering with a vehicle with vandalism of property (misdemeanor) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.
FRIDAY
7:35 a.m. Possession of a stolen vehicle and violation of probation (felonies) at Sebastopol Road and Irwin Lane. Suspect arrested.
8:17 a.m. Vandalism involving defacing property (felony) at Healdsburg Avenue and North Main Street. Pending further investigation.
10:30 p.m. Driving while under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of at least 0.08% and resisting a public officer (misdemeanors) at North Main Street and Healdsbburg Avenue. Suspect arrested.
SATURDAY
3:35 p.m. Possession of a narcotic controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia, driving without a license and violation of probation (misdemeanors) at Bodega Avenue and Pleasant Hill Avenue North. Suspect arrested.
7:34 p.m. Hit and run resulting in death or injury (felony) at Healdsburg and Florence avenues. No disposition reported.
OTHER POLICE ACTION
The Sebastopol Police Department also reported 132 other events requiring police action during the period, such as lost animals, assisting citizens, parking violations, foot patrol, traffic hazards and reckless driving.
