Sebastopol Police Logs, July 25 to August 7

The following are crimes excerpted from Sebastopol Police Department daily crime log entries and listed at the time the alleged violation was reported.

We’ve got a double dose of police logs this week - two weeks worth.

MONDAY, JULY 25

10:32 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance, possession of a narcotic controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia (misdemeanors) at Gravenstein Highway South and Hutchins Avenue.  Suspect arrested.

11:07 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanor) at Gravenstein Highway South and Lynch Road. Suspect arrested.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 27

2:41 p.m. Served an arrest warrant for an outside agency and served an arrest warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge (misdemeanors) at Gravenstein Highway North and Tocchini Street. Suspect arrested.

3:24 p.m. Contempt of court, disobeying a court order, battery of a spouse, ex-spouse or date, and sexual battery by restraint (misdemeanors) at Pleasant Hill Avenue North and Bodega Avenue. Referred to District Attorney for review.

5:56 p.m. Disorderly conduct involving alcohol (misdemeanor) at Petaluma and Walker avenues. Suspect arrested.

6:45 p.m. Petty theft and swindling under false pretense at Healdsburg Avenue and Lyding Lane. Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.

THURSDAY, JULY 28

6:19 a.m. Hit and run with property damage at Abbott and Barnes avenues. Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.

8:05 a.m. Abandoned vehicle at Murphy Avenue and Bately Court.  For information only.

FRIDAY, JULY 29

11:32 a.m. Possession of unlawful paraphernalia, violation of probation and served with an arrest warrant for an outside agency (misdemeanors) at Gravenstein Highway North and Tocchini Street. Suspect arrested.

SUNDAY, JULY 31

12:44 a.m. Possession of unlawful paraphernalia (misdemeanor), served with an arrest warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge (felony) and served with an arrest warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge (misdemeanor) at McKinley Street and Weeks Way. Suspect arrested.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3

6:26 p.m. Possession of a bad check (felony), possession of a stolen vehicle (felony), and license not in possession at Gravenstein Highway North and Soll Court.  Suspect arrested.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 5

2:58 p.m. Possession of a stolen vehicle (felony), obstructing or resisting a peace officer or emergency medical technician (misdemeanor), driving without a license, and violation of probation (felony) at Gravenstein Highway North and Soll Court. Suspect arrested.

OTHER POLICE ACTION

The Sebastopol Police Department also reported 129 other events requiring police action during the period, such as lost animals, assisting citizens, parking violations, foot patrol, traffic hazards and reckless driving.
