Sebastopol Police Logs, July 4-10

The following are crimes excerpted from Sebastopol Police Department daily crime log entries and listed at the time the alleged violation was reported.

MONDAY

7:32 p.m. Battery of a spouse, ex-spouse or date (misdemeanor) at Laguna Park Way and McKinley Street. Suspect arrested.

TUESDAY

7:30 a.m. Aggravated corporeal injury on a child (felony) and battery with serious bodily injury (felony) in Sebastopol.   Pending further investigation.

8:56 a.m. Served a misdemeanor arrest warrant for an outside agency on a person prohibited from owning or possessing ammunition (felony) at Sebastopol and Petaluma avenues. Suspect arrested.

9:41 a.m. Served a misdemeanor arrest warrant for an outside agency at Laguna Park Way and McKinley Street. Suspect arrested.

1:10 p.m. Vandalism involving defacing property (misdemeanor) at Covert Lane and Norless Street.  No disposition given.

9:44 p.m. Served an arrest warrant for an outside agency for failure to appear in court on a felony charge (felony) and failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge (misdemeanor) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Suspect arrested.

WEDNESDAY

7:58 a.m. First degree burglary with breaking and entering (felony) at Analy Avenue and North Main Street. No disposition given.

5:16 p.m..  First degree burglary with breaking and entering (felony) at Valentine Avenue and Zimpher Drive.  Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.

5:57 p.m. Giving a false identification to a police officer under false pretenses to swindle or operate a confidence game (misdemeanor), and served with felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants for an outside agency at McKinley Street and Weeks Way. Suspect arrested.

THURSDAY

11:17 a.m. Robbery (felony) at Bodega Avenue and High Street. Suspect arrested.

FRIDAY

2:37 p.m. Battery of a spouse, ex-spouse or date (misdemeanor) at Morris Street and Laguna Park Way.  Pending further investigation.

SATURDAY

3:31 a.m. Battery of a spouse, ex-spouse or date (misdemeanor) at Johnson Street and Laguna Park Way. Referred to District Attorney for review.

8:15 a.m. Vandalism, defacing property (misdemeanor) at Sebastopol Avenue and Morris Street. Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.

9:13 a.m. Hit and run with property damage at Healdsburg Avenue and Harrison Street. Pending further investigation.

9:58 a.m. Served a felony arrest warrant for an outside agency at Willow Street and Jewell Avenue. Suspect arrested.

3:23 p.m. Tampering with a vehicle with destruction, damage and vandalism of property (misdemeanor) at Fircrest Avenue and Gravenstein Highway North. Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.

OTHER POLICE ACTION

The Sebastopol Police Department also reported 160 other events requiring police action during the period, such as lost animals, assisting citizens, parking violations, foot patrol, traffic hazards and reckless driving.
