Sebastopol Police Logs, June 5-11

The following are crimes excerpted from Sebastopol Police Department daily crime log entries and listed at the time the alleged violation was reported.

TUESDAY

1:34 p.m. Petty theft (misdemeanor) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Pending further investigation.

WEDNESDAY

5:33 a.m. Hit and run with property damage at Bodega and Dutton avenues. Referred to District Attorney for review.

8:42 a.m. Motor vehicle theft (felony) at South Main and Willow streets. Investigation suspended, leads exhausted.

THURSDAY

3:42 p.m. Shoplifting (misdemeanor) at Sebastopol Avenue and Morris Street. Cleared by circumstances beyond police control.

5:51 p.m. Possession of a stolen vehicle (felony) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Suspect arrested.

9:07 p.m. Failure to appear in court after making a written promise and served with a misdemeanor arrest warrant for an outside agency at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue.  Suspect arrested.

FRIDAY

4:56 p.m. Possession of unlawful paraphernalia, violation of probation and appropriating lost property (misdemeanors) at North Main Street and Wilton Avenue. Suspect arrested.

8:22 p.m. Served a misdemeanor arrest warrant for an outside agency at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Suspect arrested.

9:39 p.m. Traffic offense with special circumstances at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Suspect arrested.

SATURDAY

12: 13 a.m. Vandalism with property damage (felony) at Gravenstein Highway South and Southpoint Avenue. Pending further investigation.

2:23 a.m. Driving while under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content level of at least 0.08 percent and violation of probation (misdemeanors) at North Main Street and Healdsburg Avenue. Suspect arrested.

4:18 p.m. Disorderly conduct involving alcohol (misdemeanor) at McKinley Street and Weeks  Way. Suspect arrested.

SUNDAY

2:13 a.m. Served a misdemeanor arrest warrant for an outside agency at Pleasant Hill Avenue North and Bodega Avenue. Suspect arrested.

9:16 p.m. Failure to appear in court after promising in writing and possession of unlawful paraphernalia (misdemeanors) at Sebastopol Avenue and Morris Street. Suspect arrested.

OTHER POLICE ACTION

The Sebastopol Police Department also recorded 175 other events requiring police action during the period, such as lost animals, assisting citizens, parking violations, foot patrol, traffic hazards and reckless driving.
