Death threat, public intoxication, criminal tresspass and more
Sebastopol Police responded to incidents involving suspicious activity, reckless driving, vandalism, theft, fights, disturbances, medical assists, code violations and several arrests during this reporting period. Routine security checks, foot patrols, parking enforcement, traffic enforcement and administrative details have been omitted. There were two misdemeanor warrant arrests for outside agencies.
Tuesday, March 10
• 2:40 AM – Suspicious Person (Gravenstein Highway South)
A caller woke up and saw two men behind a residence, heard them talking, and then no longer saw them after moving to another room. Officers completed the call.
• 2:52 AM – Probation Violation (Gravenstein Highway South)
A female was reported yelling at a clerk and demanding entry. Officers made an arrest.
• 2:55 AM – Alarm – Commercial (Morris Street)
A commercial alarm at a lounge area was documented as patrol information.
• 5:45 AM – Attempt to Contact (Petaluma Avenue)
Officers attempted to contact a staff member for a patient in the ER. The call was completed.
• 5:45 AM – Suspicious Vehicle (Bodega Avenue)
A suspicious vehicle was contacted and moved along.
• 7:27 AM – Suspicious Person (Willow Street)
A man was reported behind the stage screaming, washing clothes and gathering items. Officers arrived, but the subject was gone on arrival.

An unresponsive person was reported in a tan Toyota station wagon. A report was taken.
• 11:26 AM – Meet the Citizen (Laguna Park Way)
A caller requested contact regarding possible identity theft.
• 11:33 AM – Unwanted Party/Subject (South Main Street)
Two unhoused men reportedly refused to leave. They were moved along.

Woman yelling at clerk and demanding entry. Arrested.

A man in plain clothes reportedly claimed to be an officer waiting for a search warrant near a manager’s residence. Officers checked the situation.
Wednesday, March 11

A man in the bathroom was reported yelling when asked to exit. Officers completed the call.
• 9:03 AM – Suspicious Vehicle (Sebastopol Avenue)
Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle during patrol.
• 9:52 AM – HEART Response (Laguna Park Way)
A HEART response contact resulted in advice being given.
• 11:47 AM – Missing Person (Laguna Park Way)
A caller reported that his grandson missing. He said the boy wasn’t going to school and had lost his phone. Last seen in Sebastopol on Monday. A report was taken.
• 1:19 PM – Grand Theft (Burnett Street)
A caller reported a check had been taken from a mailbox. The incident had already been reported to the postal inspector and referred onward.
• 2:24 PM – Vandalism and Property Damage (Willow Street)
A man was reported burning items and placing lids on a grill. Arrested.
• 2:27 PM – Fight (North Main Street)
Juveniles were reported in a physical fight between a bank and a store. Officers completed the call.
• 5:59 PM – Suspicious Circumstances (McKinley Street)
A caller reported “wanted” posters in the area. Officers were unable to locate the issue.

A man in a black jacket and gray shirt reportedly made a comment toward the reporting party inside a store. Officers were unable to locate him.

An RV and another vehicle were reportedly refusing to move from a property. The subject, a woman, was cited for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Thursday, March 12

A caller reported three people on a roof talking in the dark. Officers were unable to locate them.

Officers contacted a suspicious person and moved the subject along.
• 8:24 AM – Accident – No Injuries (Healdsburg Avenue)
A non-injury collision involving a Chevy Bolt and a black Ford was reported off the roadway. A report was taken.
• 11:13 AM – Hit & Run – Misdemeanor (Jesse Street)
A hit-and-run reported from the previous day included a photograph of the suspect vehicle. Officers completed the call.
• 11:16 AM – Accident – No Injuries (Morris Street)
A head-on collision was reported. Officers completed the call.

A person suffered an arm injury from a drill with heavy bleeding. The call was referred to medical responders.
