Sebastopol Police Logs, Nov. 28-Dec. 4

The following are crimes excerpted from Sebastopol Police Department daily crime log entries and listed at the time the alleged violation was reported.

MONDAY

10:24 a.m. Child abuse without great bodily injury or death (misdemeanor) at Huntley and Neva  streets. Charges determined to be unfounded.

11:06 a.m. Vandalism with defacing property (felony) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Pending further investigation.

12:11 p.m. Person who was not the registered owner was carrying a loaded handgun (felony), carrying a concealed dirk or dagger (felony), carrying a loaded firearm in a public place (misdemeanor) and carrying a stolen, loaded firearm (felony) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue.  Suspect arrested.

2:52 p.m. Battery on a person at a school, hospital or park (misdemeanor) at South Main and Burnett streets. Suspect arrested.

TUESDAY

12:45 a.m. Disorderly conduct, lodging without owners’ consent and possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanors) at Petaluma and Palm avenues. Suspect arrested.

WEDNESDAY

1:07 a.m. Served an arrest warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge for an outside agency at Healdsburg Avenue and North Main Street. Suspect arrested.

5:05 p.m. Hit and run with a runaway vehicle and property damage at Burnett and South Main streets. No disposition reported.

THURSDAY

2:15 p.m. Petty theft, shoplifting (misdemeanor) at Sebastopol Avenue and Morris Street.  Suspect cleared by circumstance beyond police control.

FRIDAY

8:46 p.m. Disorderly conduct involving alcohol (misdemeanor) at Sebastopol Avenue and Morris Street. Suspect arrested.

SATURDAY

6:03 p.m. Violation of probation (felony) and possession of unlawful paraphernalia (misdemeanor) at Gravenstein Highway North and Hurlbut Avenue. Suspect referred to adult probation.

10:34 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia, traffic offense, violation of probation, restricted driver operating a vehicle without required interlock device and served with an arrest warrant for an outside agency (misdemeanors) at Pleasant Hill Avenue North and Eileen Drive. Suspect arrested.

10:34 p.m. Possession of a narcotic controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia (misdemeanors) and served with an arrest warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge for an outside agency at Pleasant Hill Avenue North and Eileen Drive. Suspect arrested.

OTHER POLICE ACTION

The Sebastopol Police Department also reported 109 other events requiring police action during the period, such as lost animals, assisting citizens, parking violations, foot patrol, traffic hazards and reckless driving.
