The following video was shared by Diana Rich in the email copied below. It was originally shown at the recent Sebastopol Town Hall, which Laura reported on here. The video deserves to be seen by as many people as possible. The short documentary tells the individual stories of seven people whom we group as homeless in Sebastopol. It also presents the people who work to care for them.
From Sebastopol City Council member Diana Rich:
This email is going out to those who have expressed an interest in seeing the final video on the status of Sebastopol’s services for the unhoused. The video was produced as part of the June 30, 2022 Town Hall hosted by Sebastopol’s Ad Hoc Committee on the Unhoused. It is available on the City’s Town Hall webpage, reachable by clicking HERE.
The Town Hall webpage also has a link to the full recording of the Town Hall, which in addition to the video includes presentations from Dannielle Danforth of West County Community Services (operating Park Village and supervising Sebastopol’s Homeless Outreach Worker), Michelle Patino of Disaster Emergency Medical Assistance (operating Elderberry Commons), and Adrienne Lauby of Sonoma Applied Village Services (operating Horizon Shine). Opening and closing comments by Councilmembers Una Glass and Diana Rich are also part of the Town Hall recording.
Feedback of any kind on the Town Hall and/or the video is invited and would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Diana

PS: A Question and Answer List will be posted on this same page by Friday July 15. It will include a list of questions submitted before and after the Town Hall, with answers from the Ad Hoc Committee on the Unhoused, with input from City Staff.
Thanks Dale. You might remember me from Sprint Copy, back in the O’Reilly days! Appreciate your new endeavors!
And kudos to whoever actually made the video - local group?
