'Tis the Season for Stories
A call for your personal stories about the holiday season.
During the week between Christmas and New Year's, we would like to publish stories from our readers about the holiday season. We're calling it Seasonal Stories.
Share a personal story of a holiday season past, in Sebastopol or elsewhere, your own holiday traditions, a special gift you wanted, a loved one, the warmth of winter or even seasonal affective disorder -- a distinctive memory, encounter or event.
There's only a few rules for Seasonal Stories.
Keep it under 500 words.
Submit your story by noon on December 21.
Photos or drawings welcome.
Add a two-sentence bio about yourself.
Stories must be original to the author, not AI-generated.
Submit all entries to sebastopoltimes@gmail.com with the subject line “Seasonal Stories.” The best contribution, as decided by “likes”, will be awarded a free, one-year subscription to Sebastopol Times.
Think of it as an experiment — it might work; it might not. We won’t know unless we try it, and until we hear from you.
