Tree Fall Grazes Analy Band Room
Storm brought down several trees on Sebastopol campus and Forestville
At Wednesday’s school board meeting, people were still talking about the tree that fell near Analy’s Band Room during a storm and closed the school on Tuesday. Luckily, the Band Room had minimal damage. The school, which was also closed Monday for Presidents’ Day, re-opened on Wednesday. (The photos below were provided by Jennie Bruneman, the District’s Director of Facilities, Bond and Technology.)
The fallen tree was discovered when it was still dark.
A tree branch came through the awning leading into the building.
Workers were on site to remove the tree and assess the damage to the Band Room.
Another tree fell down near the baseball field at Analy.
On the Forestville campus, there was also a tree that fell down near the Winter Orchard and neighbors came out to take care of it.
Very sad to lose the oak. Happy to see only small damage of the Analy band room. Still even a small amount of damage is expensive to repair.
