The city council will discuss whether or not to grant restaurant developer Lowell Sheldon an alcohol permit as part of a new Georgian cuisine restaurant called Piala. Sheldon has been accused of sexual harassment (and a sexual assault) by several women. The planning department originally turned down his request for an alcohol license based on these accusations, but then reversed that decision. Several of his accusers have appealed to the city council to deny him the permit.
