5th Annual Snail of Approval-Slow Food in Sonoma County Awards Ceremony

Poetry Instabook Workshop at NBLA
Wednesday, March 15, 6 pm - 9 pm, at North Bay Letterpress Arts, 925D Gravenstein Hwy South, Sebastopol. $75.
In this evening workshop we will compose 3-4 poems spontaneously. Learn and exercise the basics of typesetting, workshop your poetry with other students, and take home proofs of your pieces to share with friends and family. In June, each student will receive 10 copies of a collaborative chapbooks featuring their work inside. Reserve your spot.

Sebastopol Community Garden Spring Revitalization Work Party
March 18, 10 to 1 pm, 6785 Laguna Park Way, Sebastopol (behind the Skate Park). Free.
Come help the Community Garden get freshened up for spring plantings and new gardeners, and pitch in to the visioning process about how to make the site better for more people! We will be weeding, pruning, raking and mulching, and painting, with good company and snacks. Coordinators will be on hand to help direct tasks, and it’s a great chance to connect with fellow garden enthusiasts. Bring: Water, gloves, pruners, cultivators, any favorite gardening tools, and clothes that you can paint in if you’d like to sand and repaint the picnic tables. Evolution: A Sound Healing Performance

The Legacy Art Show is an opportunity to honor a place that has been a Sonoma County institution for so many local artists. This art show highlights the beautiful and diverse art made by our community, using materials acquired at The Legacy. Proceeds from art sales benefit the Sebastopol Senior Center.
