The doRiaN Mode explores the Great American Songbook as it dishes up vintage jazz and swinging R&B, from the sassy sounds of 1920s speakeasies and 1930s big-band swing to 1940s jump blues and rollicking R&B.
Sebastopol City Council Meeting
Tuesday, July 18, 6 pm at the Sebastopol Youth Annex, 425 Morris St., Sebastopol. Free.
At this council meeting, expect to hear a presentation on Meet Your Neighborhood, a a resolution to modify the zoning for 1121-1171 Gravenstein Highway South, and a discussion of a ballot measure for a November 2023 Special Election regarding taxes for the city of Sebastopol.

The Community Seed Exchange's gardening class and monthly workday
Saturday, July 22, 9 to 11 am work in the garden, class from 11 am to noon, at St. Stephen's Episcopal, 500 Robinson Road, Sebastopol. Free.
The class will be on fall and winter gardening, plus syncing into the regenerative cycle of the year. Free seeds are available in the seed room (same location) throughout. The CSE is a Sebastopol treasure, all volunteer, growing locally adapted seeds for the community for 15 years. Come to the class and/or join them in their monthly work day in the garden beforehand.
Super Saturday Sidewalk Sale
Saturday, July 22, 10 am to 7 pm throughout the town of Sebastopol. Free.
Come shop and eat in Sebastopol on Saturday, July 22. An all day sidewalk sale will take place throughout town. From 5 to 7 pm on the Town Plaza, there will be live music, a raffle and wine. Sonoma Aroma will be the featured band. Purchase a raffle ticket on the plaza 5 to 7 pm or bring a receipt from any Sebastopol business to the raffle table and be entered to win a Chef’s tasting for two at Gravenstein Grill.
