Ready and waiting for Trick or Treaters come sunset on Florence Street.

Florence Street is back!
Monday, Oct. 31 on Florence Street. Free.

Trick or Treaters return to Florence Street this year for the first time since 2019.


Senior Saunters
Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 9 am to 10:30 am at Ragle Ranch Regional Park, Sebastopol. Free, but parking is $7.

Enjoy leisurely walks with friendly, older adults on the first Tuesday of each month. Explore plant and animal life, swap stories as you stroll and enjoy a gentle two-mile saunter along some of the county’s most accessible and beautiful trails. All abilities are welcome! This event is drop-in; no registration required. Find out more here.


Intergenerational Chess Club
Thursday, Nov. 3, 3:30 to 5 pm at the Sebastopol Library, 7140 Bodega Ave, Sebastopol. Free.

Play chess, meet new people, learn from others and improve your game.


Mend and Befriend

Friday, Nov. 4, 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Sebastopol Grange, 6000 Sebastopol Ave. (Hwy. 12), Sebastopol. Free.

The last Mend and Befriend of 2022 will be on Friday, Nov. 4, from 4:30-6:30. As always, we will socialize while mending and have a clothes swap table.  We love to see new friends at each event, so tell others to join us! Find out more here.


Chimera First Fridays Open House
Friday, Nov. 4, 5 to 8 pm at Chimera Makerspace, 6791 Sebastopol Ave., Sebastopol. Free.

At our First Fridays events we open our doors to let you check out what we are all about. Stop by to meet your local community of makers, get a tour of our facility, enjoy some fine libations and food, and hear some great local music. You can also have some fun with our hands-on activities and live demonstrations. Admission, demonstrations, tours and music are all free. Beer, wine and food are offered at a modest price.


Celebrating Fall with Nature Journaling

Saturdays, Nov. 5, 12, 19 and Dec. 3. from 10 am to 11:30 am at the Laguna Foundation, 900 Sanford Road, Santa Rosa. $85.

707 Stand-Up Comedy Night
