Downtown Sebastopol’s Black Friday/Small Business Saturday Golden Apple Hunt
Friday, Nov. 29 to Sunday, Dec. 1 in downtown Sebastopol
Pick up your shopping passport at Silk Moon, find the golden apples stashed in participating shops around town, and enter to win a fantastic raffle prize. Sponsored by the Sebastopol Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association.
Tibetan Monks’ Holiday Market
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Nov. 29-30 and Dec. 1, 11 am to 3 pm, at Soft Medicine in the Upstairs Loft, 186 N. Main St., Sebastopol. Free.
The monks will have beautiful gift items from India and Nepal at their Holiday Market on Thanksgiving weekend. Come shop from the monks for your holiday gifts and support them. Personal sessions for healing and divination will be offered on site. The monks are available for house and business blessings, personal sessions for healing, divination and spiritual consultation. Sebastopol Walks: Nonprofit Sebastopol
Saturday, Nov. 30, 9 am. Meet at the downtown plaza. Free.
This is the last Sebastopol Walk of the year. Tour some of our wonderful nonprofits and learn about all that they do for our community. Some of the nonprofits we'll meet include Community Cultural Center, the Service and Action Coalition, the Sebastopol Farmers Market, Wischemann Hall, West County Museum, Sebastopol Center for the Arts, Senior Center, the Time Bank, and Gravenstein Health Action Coalition. The walk will be lead by Councilmember Sandra Maurer and Vice Mayor Stephen Zollman.

Wild West Holiday Extravaganza
Saturday, Nov. 30, 1 pm to 10 pm, at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, 390 Morris St., Sebastopol. $10-20.
A community gathering and fundraiser in support of the youth and small businesses of Sonoma County. Ages 17 & under are free. Teen clothing drive and clothing swap, toy drive, fashion show, live music and dj’s, food trucks, local artisan and fashion marketplace and music By Marshall House Project, Erika Ambrin, Electric Tumbleweed, Family Funk’n Town, Jeffrey Bearheart, Nscape, Mc’s Sophia Rayne & Niko Otis, Dj Dyops, Dj Chalice. Proceeds go toward keeping the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center & youth programs alive! Get tickets.
Holiday GiftAway 2024
Sunday, Dec. 1, 12 pm to 3 pm, at the Sebastopol Grange, 6000 Sebastopol Ave. (Hwy. 12), Sebastopol
Join the grange for its 12th annual Holiday GiftAway—a fun, ecological way to get new-to-you household items and clothing, and give away quality reusable household goods. Volunteers make this event possible! Adults and teens 16+ must help for 30+ minutes or donate $10 each to attend. Everyone, please sign-up for an appointment via the link under tickets above. Not able to volunteer? Please use the ticket link to sign up to shop by clicking the green $$ PAY button. Young people under 16 are free and are encouraged to help. Join Katie Phillips and Karen Joy Brown, formerly of the Bootleg Honeys at Coffee & Moore in Sebastopol for afternoons of critic-free women's performances where veterans and newbies can share original music or covers with a supportive, listening crowd. Parkside Elementary Holiday Light Show
Sunday, Dec. 1-31, 5:30 pm to 8 pm, at Parkside School,
Sebastopol Union is very excited to host their first light show at Park Side Elementary. The lights will be synchronized to our district’s music, choir and band student recordings, organized by our music teacher, Andy DelMonte. While the light show will be on display every night between 5:30 pm to 8 pm through January 1, we are hosting a kick-off event on Dec. 1. The countdown to lighting happens just before 5:30 pm. Hot cocoa and treats will be available for purchase.

Sip & Shop at the Barlow
Saturday, Nov. 30, 12 pm to 4 pm, at The Barlow, 6770 McKinley St, Sebastopol. $30.
Celebrate the holiday season and shop small at The Barlow with a little wine in hand! Come to the Barlow’s annual Sip, stroll, and shop at nine of The Barlow’s unique retailers. Holiday shopping paired with wine! This event is rain or shine. Those not drinking do not need to purchase a ticket. The Barlow is a family-friendly public space so you're little ones or anyone not of the legal drinking age, are okay to accompany you if you chose. 20% of ticket proceeds are being donated to Sonoma Family Meal. Sebastopol Holiday Tree Lighting
Thursday, Dec. 5, 5 pm to 8 pm, in the Sebastopol Town Plaza, 6908 Weeks Way, Sebastopol. Free.
You won’t want to miss this classic holiday community event, hosted by the Sebastopol Chamber of Commerce. Analy Jazz Band, Sebastopol Ballet, Mr. Music and the Love Choir, Santa and more. Hot cider, hot cocoa, popcorn and cookies.
A lovely array of choices. It also is worth mentioning that on Sunday (and every Sunday) we have a lovely Farmers Market from 10am - 1pm. Lots of wonderful food, fun and community connections. Please support our local farmers. The market needs our support. Unfortunately there won't be any crafts and non-food gift items because all the artisans were banned by the city manager and council.
