See a presentation on electric vehicles on Wednesday, June 7, 6 to 7 pm, at the Sebastopol Grange

Sebastopol City Council
Tuesday, June 6, at 6 pm at the Sebastopol Youth Annex, 425 Morris St., Sebastopol. Free.

The upcoming council meeting consists of several public hearings on utilities fees, solid waste fees, lighting fees and other user fees, plus weed abatement. Yes, it's going to be a thrill a minute.

Carbon Conversation on Electric Vehicles
Wednesday, June 7, 6 to 7 pm, at the Sebastopol Grange, 6000 Sebastopol Ave. (Hwy. 12), Sebastopol. Free.

Electric vehicles and their owners will be in the Grange parking lot for community members to stop by, take a look and ask questions. At 7 pm, a presentation on electric vehicles will include affordability, incentives, charging options, road trips, fuel savings, vehicles available, zero emissions, vehicle-2-grid, car sharing, electric public transit, and buying a used EV. Absolute Beginners Ukulele Workshop
Starts Thursday, June 8, 7:15 to 8:15 pm at the Sebastopol Youth Annex, 425 Morris St., Sebastopol. $125.

For those new to the ukulele, this class covers tuning, reading chord diagrams, basic strumming. Learn the basic chords to play hundreds of songs. Class runs from June 8 to July 6. Bring a ukulele and tuner. Reserve your spot now.


OUTwatch – Wine Country's LGBTQI+ Film Festival
Friday to Sunday, June 9-11, at the Rialto Cinemas, 6868 McKinley St., Sebastopol

OUTwatch, Wine Country’s LGBTQI Film Festival, will happen Friday, June 9, through Sunday, June 11, as part of Sonoma County Pride’s Calendar of Events. After a three-year pandemic pause, OUTwatch returns to showcase three entertaining narrative films and two thought-provoking documentaries. Get tickets.


Sebastopol Ballet Spring Recital
Saturday, June 10, 11 am and 4 pm, at Analy High School Theater, 6950 Analy Ave., Sebastopol

Botanical Illustration Exhibit and Talk
Sunday June 11, 3-4 pm at Sebastopol Gallery, 150 N. Main St., Sebastopol. Free.

Come to Lucy Martin's artist talk and demonstration at Sebastopol Gallery. She will discuss the origins of her art and give a demonstration of her painting methods, using gouache and watercolor. The slow, many-layered, meditative process of creating her detailed paintings invites viewers to a deeper appreciation of the wonders of the natural world. Learn more.
