Sebastopol City Council Meeting

CANCELLED: NBLA Sunday Funnies Special Workshop
Thursday, April 6 and April 26, 4 to 6:30 pm at North Bay Letterpress Arts, 925-D Gravenstein Highway South, Sebastopol. $150.
Day 1: Join Sonoma County local Lex Fajardo and NBLA Director Andrew Mecum as they help students sketch out several characters and ink one. Day 2: Students return to print their comic characters on special polymer plates, which are designed for letterpress printing. Students leave this workshop with their sketches, the final inked drawing, and a stack of prints they pulled, as well the special polymer plate. Reserve your spot.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Every year, the Saturday before Easter, the Kiwanis Club of Sebastopol hosts the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Ives Park in Sebastopol. Children of all ages are invited to find treats and colored eggs. The Easter Bunny will be present and loves to pose with kids. Get there early for lots of treats and surprise eggs! This free event starts at 10 am sharp, rain or shine.
Sebastopol FFA Egg Hunt and Plant Sale
Saturday, April 8, 11 am to 1 pm at El Molino High School Campus, 7050 Covey Road, Forestville
Want more Easter fun? The Sebastopol FFA Chapter is hosting their annual Egg Hunt at the Forestville-El Molino HS Campus. Egg hunt and petting zoo are free to attend. At the same time, there will be the first plant sale of the season. Plant prices vary, but plants available are: flowers, veggies, fruits, etc.
Laguna Stewardship Day at the Uplands

FARTHER AFIELD: Geology of the Sonoma Coast - Shell Beach to Bodega Head
Saturday, April 8, 9 am to 2 pm, at Shell Beach, 8900 Coast Highway, Jenner. $50.
Join fellow geo-nerds interested in the geology of coastal Sonoma County. From Shell Beach to Bodega Head, learn about the geology of the Coast Ranges, the San Andreas Fault, and various coastal features visible from our stops. Learn about the formation of coastal California, identification of local rocks, and see the difference between the geology east and west of the fault. Families and children welcome, but best suited for participants 10+ years old. Note that terrain is uneven and sometimes unstable, so general good health and fitness are recommended. Sign up.
