Sebastopol City Council meeting
Tuesday, June 17, 6 pm, at the Sebastopol Youth Annex, 425 Morris St., Sebastopol. Free.
At the June 17 city council meeting, there will be informational presentations on emergency operations and the fire severity map. There will also be three public hearings: weed abatement and a continuation of last meeting’s public hearings on the budget and CIP. The council will also hear a report from the library ad hoc, discuss fire-related building improvements to the Community Center, deal with several employee description and pay rate issues. Peacetown Summer Concert Series
Wednesday, June 18, 5 pm to 8 pm, at Ives Park, Sebastopol. Free.
Come party in the park with Peacetown. Blues guitar giant Volker Strifler performs at Peacetown this week, along with Sonoma County Favorites, The Sorentinos. Beer, wine, food trucks, and fun.
Summer Concert Series at The Barlow
Wednesday, June 18, 4 pm to 8 pm, at The Barlow, 6770 McKinley St., Sebastopol. Free.
Join the Barlow each Wednesday for live music, a street market, food, beer, wine, and fun. The concert on June 18 features Ryan Woodard.

Solstice Tasting at Emeritus

Santa Rosa Cycling Club’s The Terrible Twos 200K and a Super Century
Saturday, June 21, varied times. Start at Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 S. High St., Sebastopol. $100 to $160.
The Terrible Twos double century (200 grueling miles), start times between 4 am and 5:30 am. The Terrific Twos double metric (122 miles, the second half of the Terrible Twos), start time is 7 am. The Tremendous Super Century (122 miles but less elevation than the 200K), start time: 7:30 am. Find out more.
Summer Solstice Cider & BBQ Event

Sebastopol Solstice 5k
Sunday, June 22, 9 am, at Ragle Park
A family fun run to warm up on the longest day of the year. Celebrate in Peacetown with this fun trail run in Sebastopol through Ragle Park’s woods and soccer fields. The Solstice Run is a fun, joint fundraiser to support Gnomies Preschool and for WESCO to continued fundraising to upgrade the soccer fields at Ragle Ranch. All age ranges: Solstice Sprinters - under 12 $20 ( Day of choose 5k or 1/5 mile tack lap); SunChasers - 12-50 years old, $45, 5k; Luminarians - over 50 years old, $35, 5k. In addition to the 5k, there will be a littles run for ages 7 and under at 11 a.m. Find out more and sign up.
International Fiber Arts Exhibition XII Opening Reception

International Fiber Arts XII is a juried exhibition celebrating innovative, forward-thinking and traditional and nontraditional fiber techniques.
