Food For Thought Yoga Benefit Event

Attend a yoga class that nourishes yourself and others, raising awareness and funds for Food For Thought, a local nonprofit that provides healthy food and comprehensive nutrition support to thousands of food-insecure people living with serious medical conditions in Sonoma County. This first 75-minute hatha/vinyasa yoga class will take place at River Road Family Vineyards & Winery. Grange General Meeting with a talk on the Camino de Sonoma pilgrimage trail
Tuesday, March 26, 5:30 pm at Sebastopol Grange Hall, 6000 Sebastopol Ave. (Hwy. 12), Sebastopol. $10.
Everyone is invited to join Grangers and friends at their monthly general meeting. Come for social time starting at 5:30, followed by a potluck dinner, music, and a presentation on the Camino de Sonoma, a 75-mile pilgrimage walk across Sonoma County. The new trail/walk invites people to enjoy the beauty of this land and learn more about its unique history while participating in the deeply human experience of an extended walk. Learn more. Tai Chi with David Chung

‘Water Is Her Right!’: Benefit concert featuring FulaMuse
Friday, March 29, 7 to 10 pm at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, 390 Morris Ave., Sebastopol. $35-40.
You are invited to ‘Water Is Her Right!’, a concert fundraiser featuring magical and joyous West African-fusion music with FulaMuse. All proceeds will help empower women and increase access to clean water in Sub-Saharan Africa. MaMuse + the Fula Brothers (FulaMuse) are coming together to ensure ‘Water is Her Right!’ by helping to fund the construction of a new deep-water well in a rural community in Africa. This will be the second ‘Water is Her Right!’ event held in Sonoma County after last year’s event succeeded in providing a new well for a rural community in Malawi. Willow Creek Guided Hike
Saturday, March 30, 8:30 am - 12 pm
Join Forests Unlimited for an outing to Willow Creek, This free seven mile, 3-plus hour hike showcases the environment of a recovering river valley and redwood forest following centuries of human impact. During this out-and-back hike learn about some of the ecology and history of the Willow Creek watershed, as we explore a landscape that transitions from riparian to second growth redwood forest. This is one of the most beautiful areas of the Sonoma Coast, preserved and protected thanks to the work of Forest Unlimited and multiple organizations and public agencies.
