In the March9 PD, reporter Amy Windsor writes there is “an average of 12,000car trips crisscrossing downtown.” How does this compare to Guerneville, or Windsor, or Sonoma?
It regularly said that the junction of Main and Bodega is the busiest in the county. I do not know if this is true. According to the recent traffic study by Fehr & Peers, it's more like 30,000 cars for all of downtown. You can see the traffic count map here: https://www.sebastopoltimes.com/p/sebastopols-big-decision
Those seem like big salary increases for the police. I’m very curious how much one police officer costs the city per year, including salary, overtime, pensions, etc.
