There is a new effort afoot to re-envision Sebastopol’s downtown, which includes the possibility of restoring two-way traffic to Main Street and Petaluma Avenue.
“City officials often use the excuse of the Caltrans right of way to explain to frustrated residents why we can’t have nice things downtown…” This is a low blow. Not a word regarding the daily traffic volumes on SR 116, SR12 and Bodega Ave, especially as compared to St. Helena and Calistoga. Where else around here will we expect that traffic to go? Just sayin’.
Kudos to Paul for his unflagging commitment to making our downtown truly walkable and livable!
