Thanks to El Mo grad Mary Fricker for speaking up so that the legacy and traditions, achievements and contributions of El Molino HS are honored properly. To be inclusive and respectful sets a good example for our youth and helps build community cohesion going forward.

Thank you for this well-written article and for its understanding of the still-open wounds caused by the closure of El Molino. The Board obviously needs constant reminders that there is an entire community out here that feels disregarded and disrespected. The Board's past action caving to a few Analy alums and re-naming West County High as Analy, is just one symbol of this. Thank you to Board members Debbie Ramirez and Shawn Chernila, who seem to be the only ones recognizing and addressing the many divisive issues.

Wow - so much going on around ElMo. Thanks for representing clearly the ongoing trials & tribulations! Kudos to our local news source, and hats off to all Board members & concerned citizens for keeping this on the front burner!
